Welcome to the submission and accreditation site for the WNDX Festival of Moving Image
Call for Submissions
Based in Winnipeg, Canada, the WNDX Festival of Moving Image is an experimental film festival held yearly in fall that serves as a meeting ground for experimental film on the Canadian prairies. WNDX has been lovingly cared for by Winnipeg and prairie-region filmmakers and curators since 2005.
We are now accepting submissions for our 21st edition, to be held Nov 12-15, 2026.
We have two open calls:
- A Canadian Open Call, which considers works of any length made in 2025 or 2026 by directors who are Canadian citizens or who have Permanent Resident status
- An International Open Call, which considers short works (up to 15 mins) made in 2025 or 2026 by international directors from anywhere in the world
The submissions deadline is April 30, 2026
Notification of results will be provided by September 15, 2026
